It not only improves the pond environment it also makes it a lot easier to maintain. No longer does the pump sit in the bottom of the pond sucking up all the muck and clogging 3 times a day. The pump sits in a box that sucks in the top layer of water off the pond along with everything that falls into the pond and fouls the water. Simply remove the net from the skimmer and dump out the debris. The water is then pumped back up to the falls box which also doubles as a biological filter. Throw in a flexible liner and you are ready to install a custom pond that is unique and beautiful. Just imagine hours of relaxation listening the sound of running water, Feeding the fish, and bringing more of nature right into your back yard.
